General Securities Representative Qualification Examination

As stated by FINRA, the exam assesses the competency of an entry-level registered representative to perform their job as a general securities representative.

You are required to first pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. Zahn’s experienced team is ready to help you pass the exam on your first try.

Series 7 exam: 125 questions | 72% passing score | 100 hours (6-8 weeks) prep time.

  • Exam Duration 3 hour 45 minutes
  • New candidates are mandated to complete the Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam in addition to passing the Series 7 exam in order to attain registration for general securities representative.

SERIES 7 EXAM

The Series 7 exam is a prerequisite for registered representatives who deal in general securities. To become registered as a representative, individuals must successfully pass both the SIE and Series 7 exams.

The Series 7 exam consists of 125 multiple choice questions.
