Continuing Education Overview
We are dedicated to the Continuing Education for those who want to expand and update their knowledge of the financial planning process in both traditional classroom and online formats.
For inquiries regarding the number of Continuing Education hours remaining and when your reporting deadline is please log on to your
CFP Board account
. Upon successful completion, we will submit all Continuing Education hours directly to the CFP Board.
We offer a variety of Continuing Education courses:
Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct – 2 hours, required for all CFP® Professionals and approved by the CFP Board.
NOTE: The CFP Board has stated that the Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct are in effect as of October 1, 2019 and will be enforced beginning on June 30, 2020.
Keeping Current Manual – 10 hours (exam purchase required), keeps you abreast on changes in the industry with accompanying videos. The manual is updated annually including the current year IRS income tax numbers.
Financial Plan Design – 2 hours, build a client plan that is simple for the client to understand and designed without the use of a computer.
Materials for our Online Continuing Education courses are provided online except the Keeping Current Manual which is shipped via FedEx Ground.
We also offer Traditional Continuing Education training classes for FPA Chapter meetings and a variety of exceptional financial company meetings or symposiums. We will enable you to upgrade or acquire new financial planning skills. These skills will allow you to diversify your practice and may insulate you from a one-dimensional practice.
